Our Philosophy
The beauty of nature has always been an inspiration for us humans. When we stand by a powerful wild river, look up a mighty tree in a vast forest or loose ourselves in the depth of a clear night sky, we can not help but feel insignificance and awe.. By appreciating how forests and the natural world interacts as a whole, from the smallest microorganisms to the tallest of trees we can gain an understanding for the importance of leaving nature to its own devices and enjoy it simply for it's own sake. As humans we are after all more dependent on the earth than it is of us!

With our art we strive to convey the beauty of the wild and untouched places on earth. We believe that it’s now more than ever important to treasure and take care of the natural world around us. By reconnecting with nature we can find a source of healing and oneness with something bigger than ourselves.
Who are we?
We are Leena and Joachim. For us Art of Nature isn't just a project but our way of life. After some stressful years we decided to free ourselves from societies expectations and move into the wilderness of Norway. The place where we always felt most at home, the place that brought us peace and stillness.
