The painting is painted on canvas. It is painted with fluorescent oil paint that contain pigments that absorb ultraviolet (UV) light, particularly from a black light and re-emit it as visible light. When exposed to a black light lamp, the paint glows brightly, creating vibrant and neon-like colours.
Please note that paintings created with fluorescent paint are less lightfast than those with traditional oil paints and may fade faster depending on exposure to sunlight and how they are kept. To enhance their longevity, all works are finished with a UV-protective varnish, but minimizing direct sunlight exposure is recommended.
